Thermal imaging makes home inspections a lot easier and more revelatory than traditional ‘visual and knocking’ tactics. We use state-of-the-art thermal imaging devices to identify plumbing, electrical and mold-related problems at first glance, without using intrusive tools or making contact with the surface.
A thermal imaging device is based on the principle of ‘temperature difference’ across the surface. For instance, if there’s a plumbing leakage beneath the concrete surface, a thermal imaging device will detect the temperature difference between the dry and wet concrete to establish a leakage.
In the same manner, we can identify electrical faults by looking for hot spots across the wiring and circuit boards.
All these findings will be recorded and documented in the inspection report in the form of high-resolution photos to help you understand the issue better.
We use thermal imaging devices in almost all aspects of our home inspections. It’s one of the safest and fastest diagnostic tools to date and is widely acclaimed for providing accurate results.

Adam inspected every inch of our home and gave us recommendations on things that can be fixed that were minor. He was very detailed in his report and explained everything we didn’t know. I highly recommend him as a home inspector.
This was the best home inspection experience we have ever had. Adam was professional, prompt, and answered all of our questions. The quality of his inspection work was outstanding. Adam caught issues a prior inspector had missed. I highly recommend Solid Rock Inspection!
